What I got for Christmas 2017

This year, I was super lucky and received so many amazing gifts for Christmas from friends and family (as always) so I decided to share just a few of my faves with you.

My main present this year was a Fitbit Alta. I’ve kinda wanted one of these for a while now but never wanted to buy one for myself. Since Christmas day, I’ve been pretty much obsessed with it and I’m constantly checking it. A part of me finds it so satisfying that it tracks how I sleep, although that might sound a little weird. My other main present was an Ultimate Ears ‘wonderboom’ Bluetooth speaker. I’ve had my eye on one of these for around a year and I’m so happy that it’s now mine. Don’t be fooled by the tiny size of the speaker, this thing I still loud and very powerful.

Another gift I received, that had been on my wish list for ages, was a copper wire wall grid from Urban Outfitters. As most of you will know, I love displaying quotes and prints and pictures around my room wherever I can, to give it a personal touch, and I thought this was the perfect way to display more and fill up an empty wall space too. My only issue now is deciding which of my thousands of prints to use first!

Unsurprisingly, I also received a few makeup bits for Christmas too, including the Morphe ‘35R’ eyeshadow palette, MAC’s ‘Cherry’ lipliner, Urban Decay ‘De-Slick’ setting spray, Urban Decay ‘Naked Skin’ concealer and Urban Decay ‘Optical Illusion’ primer. I also received quite a few skincare bits from Liz Earle and Pixi which are two of my absolute fave brands. You can definitely expect some reviews within upcoming months of some of these products.

Although I’m extremely grateful, it’s pretty ridiculous how many bath products I received this year. I have enough bath bombs, shower gels and moisturisers to run my own shop. I’m going to need to be taking three showers a day, every day to use up most of these by next Christmas! At least I’ll be smelling good I suppose. The majority of these products came from the Zoella Beauty ‘Treasure Me’ gift set and the Soap and Glory ‘Girls Night Out’ gift set, featuring some of my fave products and a few new ones I am yet to try.

It really wouldn’t be an emilyrobxrts.com haul if I didn’t feature any Disney items. For my secret santa presents, I received a Disney X Primark throw, a Mickey Mouse mug and Disney X Primark mini baubles. I’m obsessed with all of these.

In terms of clothing, I received a ridiculous number of pyjamas and I love every single pair. The majority of them came from either Next or Primark, although my absolute favourite pair came from ASOS. These are probably some of my favourite PJs I have ever owned. I also received a mustard pom pom hat from The Mad Hatter company (which actually fits my massive head!!!) and a pair of Nike sliders.

I had been eyeing up the pink aviator jacket from Pull&Bear for absolutely months, since I saw it in store in London and FINALLY bought it on Black Friday, to receive for Christmas. I have a black jacket pretty similar to this one and have been obsessed with it since this time last year. I can’t wait to start wearing this one!
