Garnier ‘Moisture Bomb’ gel cream review

You may have seen in my ‘Winter skincare routine’ that I have recently purchased (and been thoroughly enjoying) the Garnier ‘Moisture Bomb’ water-cream moisturiser as well as the ‘Moisture Bomb’ super-recharging antioxidant gel-cream to replace my last moisturiser. These are products I have been meaning to buy for the longest time now, after trying a sample in a magazine probably over a year ago.

A gel-like moisturiser is a completely new concept to me, I’ve never tried anything like it before so I was very intrigued by these two products. Although, at the same time I was rather concerned that these super-hydrating products wouldn’t be for me, since I have extremely oily skin.

I’ve found that these moisturisers leave my skin glowing all day long and feeling hydrated and smooth., without looking greasy. Despite having oily skin, my skin can sometimes look rather dull and lifeless in the winter months and I think these two moisturisers are exactly what my skin needed. The products feel cooling and are very satisfying to apply too.

I think that together, the day and night moisturiser duo would be perfect for someone with dry skin especially, as they do exactly what they set out to do – hydrate your skin. If you have sensitive skin, you also don’t need to worry about these products as they are yet to break me out and appear gentle on the skin.

Although the tubs of moisturisers are quite small, a little bit really does go a long way and you don’t need to use much, so each tub will last a while. They aren’t too expensive either. I will definitely be repurchasing these products as I have pretty much fell in love with them.
