The lovely Alice from The Rose Glow tagged me in the Christmas edition of the ‘Would You Rather?’ tag, which I was so excited about since I LOVE Christmas so much. This is a lil bit different from the rest of my Blogmas posts but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.
Would you rather…
Eat brussel sprouts or cauliflower cheese?
I absolutely hate both of these items (I’m such a fussy eater) but the idea of cauliflower cheese almost makes me gag so I feel like brussel sprouts might just be the easier option.
Have twinkling lights or still lights?
Although twinkling lights can be super pretty, I can’t deny that they do my head in after a while and give me a bit of a headache so I’d have to choose still lights.
Eat gingerbread or Ferraro Roche?
Ferraro Roche’s are without a doubt one of my top three fave sweets/chocolates so that’s definitely what I’ll be eating! I can quite literally demolish a box without feeling guilty whatsoever.
Open your Christmas presents with only immediate family or with all of your family?
I’ve only ever opened my presents on Christmas morning with my immediate family so I think I’d have it stay that way. Just the idea of all of my family opening presents in one place makes me feel stressed!
Cook Christmas dinner for the whole family or don’t eat Christmas dinner at all?
Fun fact about me: I don’t actually like or eat Christmas dinner, because I’m so fussy. My Christmas dinner is probably the strangest concoction you will see, consisting of pigs in blankets (of course), roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, raw carrot and more than likely chicken nuggets. That being said, I’d definitely skip on Christmas dinner altogether.
Have a real Christmas tree or a fake Christmas tree?
I always envy people who have real Christmas trees in their home, as we’ve always had a fake one. Although a fake Christmas tree is probably the easiest and least messy option, I’d definitely like to have a real Christmas tree at least once.
Use blue, yellow and white lights or multi coloured lights?
For sure, it would have to be white lights, although if I was going for a crazy, in your face tree multi coloured lights would be an option.
Eat mince pies or Christmas cake?
Again, being a fussy eater, I don’t like either of these but I do love normal cake so I suppose Christmas cake would be the best option.
Wake up at 6am or 10am?
You can always count on me waking up at 6am on Christmas morning, if not earlier! Even at the age of 18, I’m a child at heart and can’t wait to wake up and make the most of the day. Somehow, I become a morning person but for one day only.
Drink champagne or hot chocolate?
Another fun fact about me: I don’t drink alcohol (not for any particular reason) but I am obsessed with hot chocolate, my go to hot drink, and therefore I’ll be devouring many mugs this Christmas.
Eat Heros or Roses?
Although I’m not fussy when it comes to chocolate (that makes a change) I would 100% go for Heros as they are my favourite Christmas chocolates.
Get a puppy for Christmas or a kitten?
I’m such a dog person and I love puppies with all my heart so I would love to get a puppy for Christmas, although I’m sure my three-year-old dog wouldn’t be too happy about that.
Watch Elf or Home Alone?
This was a tough one because these are both some of my favourite Christmas films, however I think Home Alone just about takes the title as my favourite.
Listen to Christmas songs all year round or never hear a Christmas song again?
I would gladly listen to Christmas songs all year round and have been since pretty much July. Once my birthday is over with in June, I’m ready for Christmas already.
Wake up early and get the best boxing day sale goodies or stay warm and cosy in bed wearing your new Christmas pjs?
I’d probably try and have the best of both world by staying cosy in bed and shopping online for boxing day sale goodies – there’s no chance I’d be brave enough to physically go shopping on boxing day.
