My dry hair’s saviour

Having bleached blonde hair, I find I’m in a constant battle with myself, trying to keep it looking as healthy as possible, which we all know isn’t the easiest thing to do. It always feels so dry, like having literal straw sprouting from my head, and doesn’t look much nicer either. In fact, just the other day my sister genuinely thought part of my hair was one of those awful fake buns you wrap your hair around (not the nicest comparison). When I saw a TV advert for the L’Oréal Elvive ‘Extraordinary Oil’ range, I knew I had to at least give it a go on my hair to see if it would do the trick, and I’ve been loving it ever since.

There’s no other way I can describe the way my hair feels after pairing the shampoo and conditioner from this collection than ‘clean’. You know how your hair always feels cleaner than normal when you’ve had it washed in a salon? Well that’s what these products make my hair feel like, which was certainly a great start. My hair also smells incredible after use and stays that way for a number of days.

Now, onto the reason I actually purchased the shampoo and conditioner pair. Although I can’t tell you that I feel like I’ve got a new head of hair and it’s worked absolute wonders, I certainly can say that in the short number of weeks I’ve been using the duo, my hair is beginning to look and feel slightly better. I do have that little bit of shine that you can only occasionally achieve with blonde hair back, after first styling and my hair is beginning to feel so much softer and silkier.

More recently, I also purchased the ‘Extraordinary Oil’ hair oil, which also doubles up as a heat protectant and can be used on damp or dry hair, since I was so impressed with the other products from the L’Oréal range. Just a few drops of this oil not only makes my hair smell even more incredible, but also gives it that little bit more shine and nourishes the ends of my hair, without making it look at all greasy. Although I’ve tried and loved many hair oils in the past, they never seemed to last because I’d use so much product each time. Not only are you getting so much more product in this, you also don’t need to use as much to achieve the same results.

Overall, I absolutely love this range from L’Oréal Elvive and how it’s making my hair feel. If you have dull, dry hair and are looking for something to give it that little boost, I’d definitely recommend checking out this range.
