The Disney Tag

Judging by my recent tweets and YouTube history, it is evident that I have rekindled my extreme love for Disney (not that it ever really went away). I decided now would be a pretty good idea to do the Disney Tag, I very rarely post things like this on my blog but it is something I would love to do more often.

1.       Have you ever visited one of the Disney parks?

I have and I wish I could say it was one of the best experiences of my life, however it was not. While on a school trip to Paris in 2012, we visited Disneyland Paris, only managing to be able to spend half a day there. Being during peak season, it was extremely busy so a lot of time was wasted in queues. I think I was so overwhelmed with where I was that I forgot to take a moment just to take it all in. Luckily, I may be getting the chance to revisit in the near future and I am so overly excited!

2.       What is your favourite ride at the parks?

I adore ‘Crush’s Coaster’, the Finding Nemo themed ride. Although we queued for so long, it was well worth the ride. It wasn’t the type of ride in which you’re on and off in a flash. The attention to detail is incredible and is just an all-round thrilling ride. I definitely recommend giving it a go if you get the chance.

3.       What is your most favourite Disney movie?

Tangled! Tangled! Tangled! By far my favourite Disney movie is Tangled. I have had a strong love for and connection with the movie since it was released and will continue to love it for as long as I live. I adore everything from the characters to the music; it is an incredible movie.

4.       What was your favourite Disney movie as a child?

From what I can remember, I used to be obsessed with Belle from Beauty and the Beast when I was younger so I’d have to say that would probably have been my favourite Disney movie as a child. I was obsessed! As much as I completely adore Tangled today, Beauty and the Beast will always be a close second.

5.       Who is your favourite Disney princess?

As you might have guessed by my answers to the previous questions, my favourite Disney princess by far is Rapunzel. I love everything about her and even had the opportunity to dress up as her for comic relief last year (I looked pretty good if I do say so myself). I even occasionally put my Rapunzel dress back on and just dance around my room to the Tangled soundtrack.

6.       Who is your favourite Disney prince?

Although I am not too sure if he can be classed as a prince, I adore Flynn Rider (shock). I have also recently grown a strong love for Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid and Prince Charming from Cinderella will also always be a favourite of mine (I just wish he had more screen time) but Flynn will always be my all-time favourite.

7.       Who is your favourite Disney villain?

Although I wouldn’t personally class him as a villain because I am completely infatuated with him, my favourite is without a doubt Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. Currently, my YouTube recommended videos is full of meet and greets with Gaston at Disneyworld, as that is all I ever seem to watch at the minute. My main goal in life is to go to Walt Disney World and meet Gaston.

8.       Who is your favourite Disney sidekick?

This probably won’t be much of a shock to you and you’ve most likely already guessed it by now, but my favourite sidekick is by far Pascal from Tangled. How can you not love him? He is possibly the cutest yet sassiest little thing to ever walk the earth.

9.       Which Disney movie is in your opinion overrated?

I can guarantee the majority of you reading this will hate me after this answer but I find Frozen and the whole franchise behind it so overrated. Although I have never fully seen it (sorry) I just don’t understand what the hype is all about. However, I am not ashamed to admit I do love singing Let It Go at the top of my lungs every now and then.

10.   Favourite Disney song?

This may be one that does surprise you as it is not Tangled related! In fact, my favourite Disney song is probably either Be Our Guest or Beauty and the Beast from the film Beauty and the Beast. I adore both and although they are both completely different, I can’t choose between them.

11.   Favourite scene from a Disney movie?

My all-time favourite scene from a Disney movie has to be the lantern scene from Tangled (I bet you never would’ve seen that one coming). It mesmerises me every time I see it. I’m not ashamed to admit it almost brings me to tears.

12.   Do you have a favourite Disney quote?

I actually have two favourite Disney quotes that I cannot choose between. The first is “Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age and dreams are forever” by Walt Disney. I couldn’t possibly put into words what I love about this quote. I think I just generally sums up what you should live by. My other favourite quote, also by Walt Disney himself, is “I hope that we don’t lose sight of one thing – that it all started with a mouse”. Disney has become such a huge worldwide famous brand, it’s success is unmeasurable, and I think it is quite important for everyone to remember how simply it all started.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, although I am not actually tagging anyone in particular to follow on these questions, if you do decide to answer them please let me know as I would love to read your answers. This blog post is not sponsored in anyway and is my own opinions only. Make sure you’re always caught up by following my blog, my twitter and Instagram.
