HAPPY NEW YEAR!
First of all, I must start off by saying I hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating the arrival of 2016, wherever you were. I can’t wait to see what incredible opportunities this year brings.
In the sixteen and a half years I have been on this planet if there’s one thing I’ve learnt, it’s that I am rubbish at sticking to New Year’s Resolutions, much like most people. However, this year I am determined to carry them on until at least June. As much as these resolutions are the typical ones that everyone seems to make (and fail at) I thought I’d share them with you anyway.
1. Drink more water
As stupid as it may sound, I hate the taste of water. I’d much rather drink a cold glass of orange juice and I have to force myself to drink water. No matter how many apps I download to remind myself to drink it, I always give up with them eventually and forget to drink water. This year I am determined to try my best to drink as much water as I can.
2. Lose weight
Before we go on holiday, in the summer, I would love to lose even a little bit of weight to make myself feel slightly more confident. I feel like this is a goal that everyone sets out to achieve and it is also one of the hardest resolutions you can set, what with all the chocolates, sweets and Christmas left overs around.
3. Stop spending as much money
I am awful when it comes to attempting to save money. Since I got my part time job and started earning a little bit of money I buy new things all of the time. In 2016 I want to try and spend less money so I can save up for more expensive things.
4. Upload more often
I upload blog posts once a week, however sometimes I forget to finish writing them or edit the pictures for them and my posts are therefore delayed. Over the next year I want to try and become more organised when it comes to blog posts, as well as investing as much of my spare time as I can into writing more posts so that I can upload more often.
5. 1000 followers
While uploading more posts, I hope 2016 brings the opportunity to gain more followers on my blog. 1000 followers would be a massive achievement for me, considering I didn’t ever think that ten people would follow my blog!
So what about you? What are your New Year’s Resolutions? How long do you intend to stick to them? I hope you enjoyed reading about my New Year’s Resolutions for 2016. Make sure you’re always caught up with my blog posts by following my blog, my twitter and Instagram.
