This blog post was so difficult for me to write for a few reasons. The first one being that I’ve been on holiday for the past two weeks, so the blog posts I uploaded during that time period were prewritten, meaning I haven’t actually sat down and wrote anything in a few weeks now. Another reason being although it is the summer holidays and I should be going on so many adventures and making the most of it, I’ve barely done anything (which is also the main reason I didn’t upload a ‘My Month: July’ blog post). However I thought I’d share with you guys the few things that I did do this month, so here is ‘My Month: August’.
One of the most important things that happened this month was results day, the day I’d been super excited for yet completely dreading since my exams finished back in June. After spending hours in the morning worrying over it, my results turned out to be even better than I expected (1 A*, 5 A’s, 4 B’s and 1 C). I’m honestly so proud of my results and if you also got your exam results recently, I hope you got the results you wanted, if not better.
Something else I’m super proud of myself for is that my blog reached 1000 views! As I’ve said before, this is probably nothing compared to the amount of views other bloggers get but as cliché as it sounds, I honestly never thought anyone would actually end up reading my blog posts, never mind subscribing to my blog. I’ve also been gaining so many positive and just generally lovely comments on my blog posts which I appreciate so much.
I was lucky enough to spend the last two weeks in August on holiday in Can Picafort, Mallorca and I honestly had the best time in the world (I’m completely aware that I say this after ever trip go on). Everything about the holiday was just amazing and I couldn’t recommend the hotel to you more. If you follow my instagram account, you’ll have seen that I stayed in the ‘Tonga Tower’ hotel.
I’m not going to turn this into a full on tripadvisor review, but everything about the hotel was perfect from the staff, to the food, to the pool and décor. The entertainment team were honestly the friendliest people you’ll ever meet and I adored every one of them. They worked so hard, all day long and managed to put a smile on everyone face, every day of the holiday. I also did so many thing that I never imagined I’d ever do, such as archery, pistol shooting and mountain biking. If you head over to my instagram you’ll see loads more pictures of my holiday.
So as I said before, I haven’t done too much this month but I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post anyway.
