I thought I’d try out a new kind of blog post in which throughout the month I record what I have done (obviously not every single thing, just things I feel are worth recording) and share them with you guys in a sort of diary/journal form. This blog post is my April version and I hope you enjoy it.
My beginning of April started with the Easter holidays, not much of a holiday for me however as I spent the majority of my Easter break either at school or at work. I did however manage to scrape a few lie ins. The amount of chocolate I consumed during the holidays was pretty ridiculous thanks to the large amount of Easter eggs I received (not complaining though even if my skin was terrible afterwards).
During this month, a few of my friends and I went to the cinema to see ‘The DUFF’ after seeing constant advertisements of it. It’s safe to say all four of us loved the film and enjoyed the night a hell of a lot. If you want to hear more about what I thought about the film you can check out my review on it wp.me/p5P1Tj-21 .
Throughout April the weather in the UK has finally started to get a lot sunnier and warmer, it’s definitely starting to feel a lot more like spring which can only mean one thing – visiting the beach more often. I’ve already visited our beach, where I live, plenty of times during April however I can’t get enough of it.
One of the highlights of my month was seeing Olly Murs on his Never Been Better tour in Newcastle. Before the concert my mam, sister and myself went to a small Italian restaurant, located down on the quayside. The service at ‘prima’ was amazing and the staff were so friendly. ‘Prima’ itself was such a lovely atmosphere. When our food arrived I was delighted to discover it was delicious and filled me up for the rest of the night ahead. If you’re ever in the Newcastle area I definitely recommend you pop into this beautiful little restaurant.
The concert itself was an incredible night, one of the best I have had in a long long time, all thanks to support act Ella Eyre and the main man himself, Olly Murs. I’m not going to go into too much detail about the night, however if you do want to hear more about the concert itself you can check out my previous blog post all about it wp.me/p5P1Tj-29 . Even Ella herself checked out my blog post on the night so you have no excuse not to.
Another of my favourite things to happen this month is having my room re-decorated. When I say re-decorated I mean painted the same colour and tidied up a little bit, however I did also get a new carpet (this probably sounds so boring to everyone reading this however my room feels so cosy and homely now and so much more clean so it’s pretty exciting for me). Having my room so much tidier makes it so much easier to concentrate on revision for my upcoming exams which helps a lot!
I didn’t do that many exciting things this month however I do have some exciting things planned next month that I will be sharing with you guys again. I hope you enjoyed this blog post.
