Current bath favourites

Every year, when winter comes around, I become completely and utterly addicted to baths. I don’t think it’s just me that this happens to so hopefully I don’t sound too weird. Even though it is technically spring now, my obsession hasn’t disappeared just yet. Anyway, I thought I’d share with you guys what some of my current bath favourites are.

big blue bathbomb

As most people know, Lush is one of my all time favourite companies and big blue is a bathbomb that I’ve been waiting to try for a while now. When I bought the product, I already knew I would love it because of it’s amazing bright blue colour. I always watch review videos and demos before I buy a product from Lush to see if I like it or not to prevent me from being disappointed (very rarely I am) so after watching several, I knew I needed to try big blue out.

After using big blue, I was left feeling absolutely delighted. The product was 100% worth the money and is something I will definitely be purchasing again, it may even be one of if not my favourite product from Lush. This product turns your bath water a bright blue while releasing seaweed and sea salt into the water, leaving your skin feeling super soft. Obviously, this bathbomb is one of those few that leave your bath pretty messy so you will need to clean it afterwards but after having such an amazing bath experience, that doesn’t matter at all.

When I’m in the bath I like to exfoliate once or twice a week in order to keep my skin feeling super soft and the Sugar Crush Body Scrub by Soap and Glory does the job perfectly. This scrub smells so sweet and isn’t too harsh on the skin while removing all dead skin. I love to use this before shaving. Since December, I have used about half of the tub which isn’t as much as it seems when you take into consideration how often I use it. I will most definitely be repurchasing this item again and would 100% recommend it to anyone.

Another Soap and Glory product I love to use in the bath is the whipped clean shower butter. This product has a long lasting, incredible smell (mainly smelling of almonds) and works so well as a shaving cream. I received the shower butter as part of a Soap and Glory collection for Christmas as a gift and if used alongside the body scrub or alone, it keeps my skin feeling super soft.

Zoella soak opera

When I am not using the whipped clean body butter, another of my favourites to use is the Zoella beauty soak opera shower gel. This product has the same scent as the other products in the collection, which I am completely in love with! Not only do I love using this product to wash my body with, I also love squeezing a few drops into the bath while the water is still running so it forms bubbles. Soak Opera is a product that comes at a cheap price yet is brilliant value for the money and lasts a long time. The bottle is quite a big size which makes it ten million times better than it already is. This is one I will continue to purchase for as long as it is on the shelves.

Creamy Madly Dreamy

After a bath I find that using a body lotion or moisturiser finishes it off nicely and the Creamy Madly Dreamy body lotion from the Zoella beauty collection is the cherry on top of the cake. This product leaves my skin feeling super soft and silky after a hot bubble bath and has a long lasting sweet scent. You definitely don’t need to use much of this body lotion to get the full affect of it. Similarly to the shower gel/bath soak, the packaging is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this product.

I hope you’ve enjoyed finding out what my current bath favourites are, I would love to find out if any of you guys have any similar favourites or ones that are the same as mine and what you would recommend I try out.
